
As a manufacturer, of course we have to have a "look". In the case of Sweater Art, our brand showcases clean lines, classic silhouttes, sophisisticated intarsias and modern missy fits. We think art is always in style.
In this economy, where every retailer is trying to get as many customers as possible, old and new, I think that broadening a store's assortment, is a necessary step.
When I hear, "that's not our look", from a buyer, I really cringe. A narrowly assorted store allows the customer to walk in and out very quickly. There is no need to "shop".
